IRIS SHOW & RHIZOME SALE RECAP
On Sunday, May 19 the annual DVIS Iris Show took place in the Wister center of Scott Arboretum. This was a new venue and an earlier date than recent years.
This proved to be a good move because we attracted many new exhibitors as well as a good flow of visitors. One of the new exhibitors was Dave Selinger whose
very impressive specimen of the iris versicolor cultivar
"Between The Lines" won Queen of Show.
The annual Rhizome Sale in collaboration with Susquehanna Iris Society occurred at Jenkins Arboretum on Saturday, July 20th. Many thanks to Doreen Duncan for getting the volunteers organized and engaging many newer members. The weather was very accommodating and the sale was very successful.
